ASSEZAT HOTEL

If you have the chance to stroll around the esquirol district, stop at the Assézat Hotel.

Built in 1555 on the plans of the Toulouse architect Nicolas Bachelier, this private mansion houses the Bemberg Foundation Museum, which houses an art collection.

Pierre Assézat, a wealthy merchant, had the hotel built to establish its power, the courtyard was made of brick but the decoration was made of stone. The hotel is on 3 floors and has an impressive staircase tower.
